Hello! I hope everyone had a great holiday, I know it’s been crazy here trying to catch up! We did this session a couple weeks ago, and we had a great time playing in Winston-Salem! We hit up the downtown area, and arts district, then finished up at Tanglewood Park. They are cool peeps, and we dig the same tunes Thanks guys for hanging out! xox

I took this photo in Costa Rica for Rob and Jennifer’s wedding back in 2007…(this was their rehearsal dinner, and probably one of my favorite photos) My husband and I went and had a mini vacation with our friends Ivy & Scott. Costa Rica had the best Mojito’s (You know we had to sample them everywhere we went ;)  plus it was the most beautiful country…I want to go back. xox

Most Fabulous Mojitos

Ingredients:

• 4 mint leaves
• 1 lime (for juicing)
• 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
• 2 ounces white rum
• 2 ounces club soda
• 1 sprig of mint (for garnishing)
• crushed ice

Preparation:

1. Put the mint leaves into a Collins glass and squeeze the lime juice over them.

2. Add the powdered sugar and then muddle the mint, lime juice and sugar together. Add crushed ice.

3. Stir in the rum and top off with the club soda.

4. Garnish with a mint sprig.

So, basically Meredith and Andrew have to be one of the cutest couples ever. Not only are they sugar, but everything in between also. We have scheduled their love session at least 5 times and the rain has not been our friend. We were able to, however, get a few minutes last week to do a few at her parent’s farm. We are planning to do another session sans rain hopefully! Get a load of the Sanford & Son truck.. It’s most fabulous, right? xo

Heather is due mid July with her first babe. We did her maternity photos last week, and I’m so excited to snuggle this little loves. Not only is Heather my cousin, but also one of my dearest friends. I am thrilled to be an “aunt” to little Emma Jane. xoxo

I just love these babies! We had a great time shooting in the woods one super HOT afternoon this past spring… Case and Caroline were so much fun to shoot, and the weather was amazing at the woods this day.. xox

So many times we get caught up in our tweets, beeps and online world, that we forget to stop and breathe. I am so guilty of this, my world is non-stop, all day, everyday.  I am making a vow to chill out for a hot minute of each day, because before I blink, my babe will be all grown up. Tweet or no tweet.  xox

I have more to post, but I need to finish the edit first.. I just got pumped up about these images…This was a fun wedding! We shot at St. Peters in Charlotte, probably one of my favorite churches in Charlotte. More to come, mama has to get her editing pants on.. xo
