This is a special post from me, because next year my sweet sweet Kennette will be marrying Mark, the love of her life.  Kennette is the sister to one of my brides from several years ago, Amy. That is when our story began… Amy’s wedding festivities came and went, after albums and print making, it really is a bittersweet time in a photographers world.  You are so happy for your client, but the communication pretty much ends until those babes arrive. Then Amy and Kennette’s older sister also got married, I shot that one as well.. Kennette then tells me she’s dating this boy named Mark C. Mark, my husband’s cousin Mark? I ask. And there we were “holy cow, we’re almost family, ha!” Random.

After college, Kennette came to work for ACP, as my designer and office manager. She has been my sidekick, dance partner via desk dance party, and loves my baby Eva. Even though Kennette has moved forward, she still helps us out, and still designs for us. I am thrilled to be a part of their day next year, and so happy to welcome Kennette to our side. I love you, thank you for all  your ACP love!

How adorable is this couple? I fell in love with Jen the second we met! Then I met her sweet Drew. Her tall, tall sweet Drew. I can’t wait for their awesome wedding in a couple weeks! We did their engagement at her grandparents home, which might I add are also adorable. Then we rolled down to one of my most favorite stores in Cornelius. Bebe Gallinis. YOU MUST GO, they have amazing things for you and your home! Thanks ladies for letting us roll into your store to shoot a couple photos. xox

Hey kids! Well, wedding season has started full force this year, and I am so excited to share some new sessions! First we have Missy and Mike… I have known Missy since high school (Go Warriors!) and we had a great time shooting in the canola fields around Statesville. She and Mike are so cute together, and their wedding will be amazing at their family farm! I can’t wait to share that with you, after June 5th!  Here’s a sneak peak of what we did that gorgeous day!

I just found this on my daily esty run. I tell all my people who don’t know yet about etsy, but it is a great place to find details for your wedding, and portrait sessions. Check this out, loves.

Hello! I hope everyone had a great holiday, I know it’s been crazy here trying to catch up! We did this session a couple weeks ago, and we had a great time playing in Winston-Salem! We hit up the downtown area, and arts district, then finished up at Tanglewood Park. They are cool peeps, and we dig the same tunes ;) Thanks guys for hanging out! xox

So, basically Meredith and Andrew have to be one of the cutest couples ever. Not only are they sugar, but everything in between also. We have scheduled their love session at least 5 times and the rain has not been our friend. We were able to, however, get a few minutes last week to do a few at her parent’s farm. We are planning to do another session sans rain hopefully! Get a load of the Sanford & Son truck.. It’s most fabulous, right? xo

I had the best time playing with these two. First of all, what a BEAUTIFUL couple. Secondly, they are so romantic, my job couldn’t have been easier. Catherine and Ryan have been together for four years and are planning a July wedding, when Catherine has summer break from teaching. While we were shooting, I asked them how they got engaged, and how sweet is this: After Ryan left Catherine’s home one evening, he managed to sneak back to her house (when she had gone to bed) and asked her dad if he could marry sweet Catherine. With her father’s blessing, Ryan asked Catherine to be his this past Christmas..The rest is history.. a fabulous e-session for a sweet couple with a sweet story.

So beautiful.
So beautiful.

I have had the fabulous opportunity to get to know the Jackson Family over the course of my professional career. I photographed Ashley’s sister Ivey’s wedding several years ago with another photographer, and soon after shot Ashley’s senior session. Time sure caught up with me, she graduated college and also happened to get engaged to the love of her life, Adam. The Jackson’s have welcomed me into their home and in their hearts by allowing me to document these life changing events. I have been so happy to call them both my clients and my friend.

For their engagement we went to downtown Davidson last fall.  Here are a few of my favorites.
